In April 1994 hell on Earth arrived in Rwanda. In the next 100 days upwards of one million people would be killed in one of the greatest genocides in recent history. Before the colonial era, the population of what is today Rwanda -Tutsis, Hutus, and Twas- lived side by side peacefully, but German and Belgian policy was to change all that, and its effects live on through the present day. teleSUR
