Telangana row: 7 AP Congress MPs submit resignation

After threatening to resign over the last two days, seven Congress Mps from the Telangana submitted their resignations to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi. The MPs resigned hoping that this move of theirs would result in something positive for the region. But members from the opposition in Andhra Pradesh have raised questions as to why the MPs have submitted their resignations to Sonia Gandhi and not the Speaker directly.
