How come every time I look at you
There is this look of regret
There is this person that I thought I new
Someone that I thought will always be true

How come everytime we hold hands
I just get this feeling of guilt
Like what we built will be brought down
Like it is not strong enough to face the obstacles that we will attempt

How come every time we kiss
It doesn't feel real
Like it is a one night only thing
Like I am being fooled

Why every time we are together
It doesn't feel like their is anything special
Like there is something and someone between us
Like there is a brick wall standing in the middle of us

Why every time I talk to you
There is a million questions running through my head
But guess what
It is time for me to break free
From this imposed captivity

Why every time....
Forget I am not asking any more questions
We are through because I don't think your love was true
