Teens Are Fleeing Facebook

Facebook is starting to lose its teen audience and is gaining popularity among over-55s. According to market research company eMarketer, 2018 will be the first year when less than half of internet users between the ages of 12 and 17 use Facebook at least once a month. Unlike in previous years, when the site managed to hang onto younger users via Instagram, it now seems to be losing serious ground to Snapchat.
