I couldn't get any sleep last night what with the heat
Since Vietnam I don't use air conditioning only a fan
The contrasted adjustments my body has to make
Therefore are not that great or greatly reduced
Keeping it real....
I like it that way.....It allows me to tolerate more crap
I look at it as good training should I ever feel the need
To return back to the Jungle to live....
My wife sleeps downstairs on extremely hot nights
She can't stand the heat outside of the kitchen
In the Winter she complains the house is cold
When the thermostat is set at seventy two degrees
But take that same setting in the middle of Summer
And she's all sweaty and hot....
I like her 'sweaty and hot'....
I must have fallen asleep about three am
The last thing I remember I was thinking how tired I was
Now here I am wide awake two hours later with a warm beer
And the remote control still frozen in my hands
Some lipstick lesbian is telling me why I should care
About gay marriage....
I'm not sure I understand her position....
I'm trying hard though to imagine....
Okay, hear it is
I really believe that we all need to be brutally honest with each other
Brutal Honesty is easy....but
It's a lot harder to be Truthful
Because that requires lying....
Kind of like when I told my wife it wasn't that hot__
