My heart is a sealed tomb
Harboring within its darkened catacomb
The remains of our passionate love
This old bronzed body
Thick with verdigris
Serves as a protective sarcophagus
A monument commemorating
My eternal respect for the woman
Whose beauty alone
Once raised me from the dead….
