This appears to be one of Selvin's pseudonyms. Originally a violinist, Ben Selvin probably made more records than any other bandleader from the late 1910's through the 1930's. After his recording career he remained active in record business as artistic director till the 1960's. This great record was made in 1931. The vocalist remained uncredited, but is Orlando Robinson.
