Ted Cruz: Masterful Liar?

This is when I have a real problem with Ted Cruz. Cruz and I are both champion debaters. We are both well aware of the tactic with taking a partial phrase your opponent says out of context and then creating a completely false narrative around that partial phrase.

This is exactly what Cruz is doing. Donald Trump did say that "he wants everyone to have coverage". He said that in the context that he wants insurance plans to be portable, private, affordable and competitive so you can buy them across state lines.

Trump also said on another subject, "that the government is going to pay for it" and when Trump said that he was talking about having a reform plan for the indigent who just walk into emergency rooms - to make it cheaper BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT PAYS FOR THOSE PEOPLE ALREADY...it only makes sense to come up with a plan to lower those costs.

Cruz takes the two partial separate thoughts, and puts them together and then says that Trump wants nationalized healthcare. Sure, Ted, it's a fact that Trump said the first phrase, and yes it's true he said the second, but no Ted, Trump's published healthcare reform proposal is almost exactly the same as yours.

The Bible says "and he hanged himself" and it also says "go and do likewise"...but the Bible does not advocate suicide. This is what Ted is doing.
