Technology giants urged to implement child safety code

Australia's e-Safety commissioner is throwing down the gauntlet to tech giants and companies to develop new codes to tackle child exploitation after new research revealed a spike in the amount of adult material being shared online during the pandemic. Julie Inman Grant says social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram aren't doing enough to protect users from accessing violent and extreme pornography.
