We're more than vocal when it comes to praising the music coming out of France.

Labels such as Bromance, Sound Pellegrino and ClekClekBoom have been smashing but the most bone-crushing imprint has to be Zone.

The label helmed by Gesaffelstein and The Hacker is responsible for some of the darkest and most unsettling releases of the year and one of the artists leading the charge is Maelstrom.

We've featured a lot of music from Maelstrom. There's his stellar In Session mix, the Dave Clarke remix of his collaboration with Louisahhh!!! and the lead track from his last EP on Zone.

His next release via the label is set to drop soon and we have the premiere of the lead cut.

'Adversarial Design' isn't a track that you'd show your mum unless she's into violent, stabbing and demonic techno music. Once again the track shows off Maelstrom's fine production skills and promotes a sound so dark that it's only suitable for the bleakest of raves.
