Alone
Why does she feel alone
With brightness all around
Born down on hallowed ground

Afraid
What makes her so afraid
Beside a beacon ever glowing
Safe, secure, still never knowing

Ashamed
How can she be ashamed
Of purity profound
And innocence unbound

Adrift
When did she blow adrift
Spread wings like angel’s sails
Newborn Kraft still fraught and frail

A spirit never tamed
And Away
