I close my eyes
And she flies
Down to me

The one who
Always loved me
Unconditionally

In my mind
Her divine
Hand in mine

As I kneel before her
Swearing I will adore her
For all time

Suddenly she steps down from her altar
Says I must not exalt her
That our paths would be altered

As though she’s still by my side
Softly now she confides
Use my love as your guide

And thou shall not falter
