TAXI DRIVERS WANT TRAFFIC RESTRICTION

Members of the Trinidad and Tobago Taxi Drivers Network are calling on the Ministry of Works to reconsider and revise recently implemented traffic restrictions along the Solomon Hochoy Highway.


It is now illegal to drive onto and then cross over, three overpasses, between the hours of 6am to 9am weekdays with the exception of PTSC buses.


Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh tells us, the taxi network feels it’s being disadvantaged and it's calling for the same treatment offered to the buses.
