Tawerghans cast doubt over Libya election
1 Views • Jul 25, 2012
Description
But members of some minority groups accused of being loyal to Muammar Gaddafi, the late leader toppled in a popular uprising, say the upcoming elections are meaningless to them as they continue to be marginalised.
About 40,000 Tawerghans are now living in squalid camps on the outskirts of numerous cities after being displaced from their hometown.
They say many of their people could not register to vote because of their displacement.
Omar al-Saleh reports from Benghazi.
