As Alien Gear employs the hybrid holster design, we make a custom retention shell molded to the exact firearm you order the holster for. The hardware is adjustable as well, allowing you to dial in the retention to your exact specification. The shells are also swappable, so you can easily swap a Taurus PT111 holster shell for a Taurus 92 shell, if you feel the need to size up your carry gun.

However, Taurus revolver holster shells will not fit on an automatic holster base nor vice versa. You can switch between a Taurus 82 holster shell and carry a snubbie and size up to a Taurus Judge holster, but you cannot switch between revolver and auto shells, unfortunately.
