Seems Tata has roped in India’s most well known F1 racer to test it cars. Just yesterday, Narain Karthikeyan was posted testing its upcoming Kite hatchback in Lonavala. Testing of the car seems to be in the final stages as the model that was spied on looked production ready.
Although heavily camouflaged, one could clearly see alloy wheels, frontal bumpers and projector headlight designs. Cars going through tests have spied upon previously as well, but this is probably the first time an F1 racer was seen behind the wheels. According to us, it’s a good move since his expertise about cars and their driving abilities can be put to good use.
As far as the Tata Kite is concerned, but it seems the car would share a lot of similarities with the Tata Zest and Tata bolt. It would have a small engine and at least one variant with automatic transmission.
