Tomoko

Tomoko, I met you
in the depth of my darkness
our meeting was unique and first ever
as if destined far off.

That cold and chilly evening
I still remember and I assure you
can never forget the glitter and shine
you adorned so beautifully designed
the bliss of eternity
oozed out of our convergence.

you enchanted me
with your honest innocence,
the poet dead for long
could get restored
and I lived a night like a hero.

Petals of poetry were strewn
on the paths we stroked
we stepped into the bliss of love
and shared our biting sufferings
that opened our hearts to heaven.

Tomoko, you fell in love
with the God and his abode
I was only there to witness
to behold with amazement
how the pot boiled
and hatred, misgivings
evaporated to nothing
but into the endless azure sky
I loved you with depth and passion
cuddled you as close as possible on to my heart
and contained you within me.

My dear Nibedita
I love you so much and so big
Tomokos are within you entrailed
like me and my culture within
my patriotism and my beautiful country
that I love so blindly.
