Tarantino Defends Spitting On, Choking Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman told The New York Times that director Quentin Tarantino spat on her and choked her with a chain during the filming of "Kill Bill."
Tarantino defended himself this week although he doesn't dispute the claims.
The director said, "Naturally, I did it. Who else should do it? A grip? One, I didn’t trust [actor] Michael Madsen because, I don’t know where the spit’s going to go."
Tarantino said they tried to use fake spit, but it didn't look real enough.
