We can all make mistakes
and end up broken,
digging our own graves,
lives forsaken.

But it does not need to be that way,
if we see tomorrow as another day,
if we make promises, start anew,
as I am willing to do with you;
if underlying there is a true abiding love
that sees those bluer skies above,

Blue skies for you, blue skies for me.

Those skies were meant to be for 'we'.
