tara mahdavi - My turn

I was that bird, you the hunter
who chained me
imprisoned me
kept me from all light and love
you the betrayer
who drained the life from my blood
left me humiliated and paralysed
but now, I am born again from the dust of that bird
seeking my revenge
wanting my honour back
singing for freedom and victory of love over death and darkness
