Many of my dreams have vanished at dawn,
but enough have been fulfilled to keep me dreaming on.
Many of my prayers have gone unanswered,
but enough of them have been heard,
which have made me strong,
to keep me praying on.
I've trusted many a friends who've left me to weep alone,
But I've found enough who answer my phone to keep me trusting on.
I've sown enough seeds that have fallen by the way for the birds to feed upon,
but I've held enough golden sheaves to make me keep sowing on.
Many battles in life I've lost,
which have a lot to me cost,
but enough of them I've won,
to keep me fighting on.
On the way I've stepped on many thorns,
But I've walked on enough roses and lawns to keep me going along.
Many a challenges I've failed,
and through so many storms I've sailed,
but they've made me so very strong,
to keep me sailing on.
Many of my wounds have gone real deep,
which have left me to cry and weep,
but enough have been repaired,
with utmost love and care,
to keep me going on.
I've drunk from the cup of pain and disappointment,
and have lived many days without any contentment.
I've gone many months without a dance or a song,
but enough nector I've slipped from the roses of life to keep me living on! ! !
