Drama set at an all girls boarding school where a new, mean-spirited English girl manipulates classmates and leads them to trouble while instigating confrontation and revealing secrets. Our protagonist, an innocent good hearted beauty, falls for a married man, gets hurt and matures while consoling the ill willed English girl after a revealing run in with her alcoholic mother. The two girls turn resentment to friendship as their characters grow and develop into young women.
