Breaking Waves

Upon the shore
the waves do break.
Sometimes with lonliness
my heart does ache.

But I do know
that if, and when you
do come to me.
Lonely no more
will I ever be.

For I will have your love,
and your arms
to keep me warm,
For ever more
your heart joined with mine
will keep me company.
