Red Carpet News talks to VIP guests including Imelda Staunton, Tameka Empson, Fra Fee, Anna Crilly and Jo Joyner at the opening night of new play The Truth at the Wyndhams theatre in London's West End.

Following a critically acclaimed sold out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, THE TRUTH transfers to Wyndham's theatre for a strictly limited 10 week run, until 3rd September.

THE TRUTH is a biting comedy which examines the complex relationship of two couples entangled in the politics of extra marital affairs, friendship, deceit and ultimately, the truth...

The cast includes: Tanya Franks (regular roles in EastEnders, Broadchurch and Pulling). Alexander Hanson (title role in Stephen Ward at The Aldwych and A Little Night Music at the Chocolate Factory, West End and Broadway). Frances O'Connor (Tom & Viv at the Almeida, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Lyric and Mr Selfridge, The Missing and Madame Bovary on television and the film A.I Artificial Intelligence directed by Stephen Spielberg). Robert Portal (Around the World in 80 Days at the St. James and Communicating Doors at the Chocolate Factory).

Written by Florian Zeller (author of The Father - 2016 Olivier Award, and The Mother) in a new translation by Christopher Hampton, this production is directed by Lindsay Posner (Abigail’s Party, A View from the Bridge and End of Longing).
