I sit in my room during the lonely days,
Longing only to see your face
You used to mean the world to me
But I know that together we could never be

We tried it twice, it never worked out
I still don't understand what our fights were about
I know we will never be together again
And it kills me, because we aren't even friends

You promised me you wouldn't leave
But you found another, and chose her over me
It hurts me so bad and you'll never know
The pain that I felt when I watched you go

But I will have to move on
For tomorrow is a new day
All though all these tears won't take my pain away
