Talented parrot can sing opera

An awesome video has emerged of a parrot singing opera with her carer.

The footage, shot near St Louis, MI, USA, shows Nina showing off her singing skill to her carer Rachel Bailey.

"When I worked for Kersting Bird Medicine and Surgery, I helped take care of many birds who were boarded while their owners were sick or traveling," Bailey wrote online.

"Nina was one of our regular boarders, and she loved to sing opera as long as someone else was singing with her!".

"She would also screech "red rum" while we were out of the room, but never on camera, unfortunately!".

Although the video was shot last year, it only recently emerged online.
