Takiyuddin: Shahidan has not joined PAS
Description
BN’s incumbent Arau MP Shahidan Kassim and incumbent Maran MP Ismail Abd Mutalib, who are defending their seats under the PN ticket, have not joined PAS, according to party secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan.
"We issue the appointment letter to candidates allowing them to use the PN ticket under the PAS quota.
"They have yet to become PAS members. But in the election law, they do not necessarily have to be members of the party," he added.
