Der Butoh-Ma Meister Tadashi Endo führt mit einer internationalen Gruppe von Tänzern aus u.a. Belgien, Brasilien, Frankreich, Schweiz, Spanien, und Deutschland innerhalb des Kunstfestivals „Kunst ist eine Insel“ der Künstlergruppe PARADOX eine Performance auf, die er eigens für Helgoland entwickelt und mit der Gruppe auf der Insel innerhalb von 10 Tagen einstudiert hat. „Kaizoku tachi – oder die Seelen von Hilligenlei“. Unbeschreibliche Bilder, jeder hat für sich aus Meeresutensilien ein eigenes Kostüm kreiert. Das wunderbar mystische Schauspiel beginnt am Südstrand, führt über den Lung Wai, anschließend verteilen sich die Künstler über gesamte Insel, verschmelzen an „ihrem“ besonderen Ort jeder auf seine eigene Weise mit der Insel, dem Meer, der Natur und treffen sich zu einem stimmungsvollen Abschlussbild im Abendlicht auf der Landungsbrücke.
The Butoh-Ma Master Tadashi Endo performs with an international group of dancers from Belgium, Brazil, France, Switzerland, Spain, and Germany within the art festival "Art is an Island" of the artist group PARADOX a performance, which he developed especially for Helgoland and rehearsed with the group on the island within 10 days. "Kaizoku tachi - or the souls of Hilligenlei". Indescribable pictures, everyone has created their own costume from sea utensils. The wonderfully mystical spectacle begins on the south beach, leads over the Lung Wai, then the artists spread over the entire island, merge at "their" special place each in their own way with the island, the sea, nature and meet for an atmospheric final picture in the evening light on the landing bridge.
