T.K Owens - Identity

To find the identity that I seek, I look in the mirror and start to speak.
I ask myself that through the times, why have I lost myself and left the real me behind?
The hardships I find that lie ahead, is pulling me down by a tiny thread.
Finding myself going under, what is my identity, I really wonder.
Is this really me? Or am I too blind to see? That the person I hide, is starting to die and as I cry, I get lost in the time wondering why and slowly starting to slide.
These times are hard but I can't let them see, can't let them see this mistaken identity that I can't eliminate, as it eminates to a level of hate and slowly I begin to break....
