Syrian rebels take control of strategic basic

Rebel fighters seized an air base along Syria's southern highway on Saturday --- It's a strategic gain for the opposition who have struggled to deliver supplies to fighters in differnt party of the country.

After capturing the famed 38th air base in Deraa, they immediately went to work searching for weapons and ammunitions, piling box afte box onto trucks in this video posted to a social media website whose content Reuters cannot independently verify.

A UK based human rights group says opposition fighters took control of the base after a 16-day battle with the military.
