Syrian jets launch fresh air strikes around Idlib

Syrian government forces have launched more airstrikes around Idlib and there’s been shelling east of the capital Damascus.
 
People in rebel held areas are trying to establish a homemade air defence system to protect themselves against government attacks.

As Al Jazeera's Osama Bin Javaid reports – a change of leadership in Syria's opposition in exile is not expected to have any major impact on the fighting.
