Syrian forces pound Aleppo

Syrian forces sent a clear message to rebels in Aleppo. (Blast) We aren't going anywhere.

They pounded the city with bombs and even forced some opposition members to retreat.

Rebels say they aren't letting the blasts drown out the real news --- Prime Minister Riyad Hijab has abandoned the government.

The high profile defection is having a domino effect. Two cabinet members have also deserted and a third minister was reportedly arrested as he tried leave Damascus.
