Syria's refugees

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday opened a long-awaited international peace conference for Syria. The UN's refugee agency has said it is vital the talks in Switzerland find a way to end the bloodshed and suffering in the country. UNHCR also issued a fresh appeal to ease the massive burden on countries sheltering millions of refugees since the conflict erupted almost three years ago.VIDEOGRAPHIC
