Along the dusty road into the wood land green.
'I must hide behind that tree so that I can't be seen.
My name is Jack Stubbs and I have a price
on my head; in a few months I will probly be dead.
I could be hung at Tyburn, another job done
or I'll come face to face from the point of a gun.
Here comes the coach I have my mask in place;
I can't let them coach men see my face.
My cloak is pulled down over my steed, and
now to do the dirty deed.
Stand and Deliver all your booty, ah' what is this
a Lady Beauty. I'll have your gems and a kiss as
well then I will leave and bid you farewell.
That's another job done and away I ride
back to my cave where I reside.
I have no home or cosy nook, I have to sleep
where I can because I am a road rage crook.
I am a highwayman, it's a dangerious road
I trek. My prospects are the gallows to hang
by the neck.
