So here we go again
another high school love triangle
except there is no third person
just you and me
This flirting game has been going
on for months now
getting us no where

We are in English class
watching Of Mice and Men
when you ask me that question
that could change us
I asked you if it was a joke
tell me no
but you said it was the honest truth
so I answered Yes

But then you rejected me
Laughing it off
The strange thing about this whole
story
is that your still my best friend
so when you ask again
and I know you will
will you be ready
to finally be mine
or are you going to be playing these high school games
Hasn't anyone told to not break girls heart'
because they might have a little 'surprise' for you
Don't play these high school games
because I don't play
I win
