Description

The Papiliorama in Kerzers is a public zoo specialising in tropical and indigenous butterfly species. As well as one of the world’s largest butterfly domes the site also features a dark dome with all kinds of nocturnal animals and the reconstruction of a nature reserve in Central America. In its 20th year, the centre is more eager than ever to raise its visitors’ awareness of environmental problems. (Michele Andina, swissinfo)
