Swim Deep - The Sea

Swim Deep refers to themselves as "grunge pop," and that doesn't make a lot of sense until you hear the music. It's got all the simple chord progression and slouchy apathy of the very best '90s rock, but it's filtered through four guys from England in 2012 who have a taste for surf rock. They haven't released much music, but their debut single, "King City," is good enough to have us excited to see what else grunge pop has to offer.
