SWG NGE Tutorial (Star Wars Galaxies)

Let me make this clear up front: I don't think too much of SWG, in any of its different forms or versions. It does offer some pretty engaging space combat, however, so that's what I'll be focusing on. There's also a standard ground MMO, but it's pretty horrible. This is a "frog-enabled" test server (that just means you can use a terminal to generate items, increase your level, and essentially cheat, although I'll try to keep that at a minimum, beyond generating gear and ship parts, since there's absolutely no economy on this particular server). There's definitely a nostalgia factor involved here, along with some pretty thick rose-tinted glasses. SWG was never very good beyond the Jump to Lightspeed space combat expansion. But hey, it's Star Wars, and this is a Star Wars-themed gaming channel.
