Sweet Ivy - Broken Inside

How much can you say, before you run out of words?
How much can you take, before its time to let go?
Im sitting here surrounded by people and more people,
But my soul is long gone, wondering somewhere to find my lost self.

I didnt want to let go, I guess I had a loose grip,
But now since its gone, I feel like I dont want it back,
The looks are nothing more than tricks of our own eyes,
The world is nothing more then a playful trap to fight.

Life is a beautiful lie, we realize it when we fall,
Its all a beautiful disaster to kill slowly like a sweet poison,
Knowing the truth, we close our eyes, and let ourselves be fooled,
By the unstable feelings called friendship and trust.

They come by so strong, like a storm taking over,
Comes fast, stays awhile, crashes everything behind, says goodbye!
