Sweden's newest royal
Description
STORY: Christopher O'Neill, the husband of Sweden's Princess Madeleine, announced the birth of their daughter in New York on Friday (February 21).
During a news conference at New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, where the child was delivered, O'Neill said, " We are just so thankful that at 10:41 last night (February 20), we brought a little girl into this world. O'Neill did not reveal the child's name, but said she appeared to have brown eyes and brown hair.
The new father also showed the media his daughter's footprint, in faded ink, on his forearm.
Princess Madeleine, fourth in line to the throne of Sweden, was resting and did not attend the news conference.
