Swapan Deep Singh - When Mankind Suffers
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
The tears rolled fast and slipped down her face;
Oh! She had cried for days together;
Her son had died.
And another stood still beside the carcass of her brother;
Shouting hard, screaming hard, to ask God what his fault was.
But they were the lucky ones, they say
For many had lost their dead;
And could not find the corpse.
Yes many had died, in the gruesome blasts;
That hit the Shanghai of India,6 years down the 21st century.
The blood stains of the unfortunate have left
An indelible mark on the pages of the modern world.
For these are the stains that would keep us awake;
To bring to justice,
Those irretrievable lives.
Man kills man.
Better than us are the cannibals;
For they have been made so by Mother Nature.
But we are the ones who slaughter our race.
And have been made so by our own cruel nature.
God now cries to see the present man;
For he had not made the man who thought he was “He”.
