.....it all just seems so perfect.....

then you realize that its a stormy wind instead of a breeze.
that the sand through your fingers is full of cacti spines.
the bass has swallowed a knife that stabs you.
and the shell is not empty and the hermit crab bites.

the starfish you touched is really dead.
the pina colada has had hot sauce added.
the amazing dolphins are actually sharks.
and the tree smelled of sour milk.

the waves are so strong that they knock you down.
the lobsters antennae were full of poison.
the pinch made the jelly fish sting.
as you breathed bugs flew in your mouth and up your nose.

ever wondered about these things?
how they ended up so different?
how could you believe it was perfect?
how could you have been so wrong?
