Death even the word sounds cold
It is something that will unfold
in everyone’s life is what I was told.
The sin of Adam and Eve is now why death
holds the keys to the grave.
Praise be to thee, my Heavenly Father
He set the captives free!
There is no way of escaping
the physical death, but did you know?
Heaven can be your second home.
We live in this mortal body for a while
then death must take, its mayhem on all mankind.
Do you know Jesus?
He alone will take you, to your second home?
Don’t let a another day go by not knowing
if you made Heaven your last home.
Jesus died that you and I
may live in glory for an eternity.
Why this poem came to me, is not for me to question
it’s not between you and I.
Let the Lord speak to your heart
there was a reason why.
