Susan Drozda Cooper - The Crow

I once drew a small crow on a
huge piece of paper.
At night I could hear the fluttering of
large wings.
At dawn the bird was gone.
I drew then, a pine tree with a nest in it..
beside the crows abondened place.
The next evening there was silence.
