Asleep as his eyes closed in to a dream
Missing am i in his moments going by
Asleep as he lays not one sound as i sit at his side
Staring at his face of peaceful beauty
Does he know that i sit beside him as he lies asleep
Asleep as his hand near mine holds only still
Should i move closer so he might fill
Me
Asleep as he dreams of thee unknown quietly
Missing am i in his hours going by
Asleep as he lays not one movement as i memorize his eyes
Him
Asleep as i cant stand to sit so near to him
Asleep i want to be don't he see
That Asleep in his arms is were i dream awake to be
Him Me
Asleep i just sit at his side to see him and wonder what he dreams
And wishing i keep to lay by his side and fall the same
Asleep
