I have a letter from you,
I have cards,
I have pictures,
I have memories.

What do I wish for?

I wish for the depth of our love, our intimacy, our being one.

Do I wish for this from you
Does it have to be you?

Not as long as:
they make me laugh like you
they touch me like you
they show me how they care like you did.

Not so long as they make me smile like you, they desire and love me like you.

They can be anyone
As long as I want to give them my love with the ease and grace I could give to you,

As long as they make me feel safe and protect my soul like you,

As long as I love every bit of them, every way they move, everything they do,
what they hope for, the journey they are on,
their true essence,
their spirit and their soul.

As long as they are you?
