Susan Ashdown - When You Depart
3 Views • Jun 12, 2014
Description
In a body that feels as if time has no substance.
Time has no meaning, it’s just a dial on a clock face
Nothing feels real, it’s all too surreal.
Yet deep within I know the proof.
I’m floating on nerve-ends that lash out for an anchor,
This noiseless space is earth-shatteringly loud. And
Night is day is night is day, all is one.
I’m full of yearning, deep and secret
Heightened senses are delirious, crazy with tremors throbbing.
