Surface runoff created a striking visual effect as it entered the sea after flash floods in Benidorm, Spain, on August 17. Irina Fusle, who filmed the footage, told Storyful she caught the sight from the 21st floor of a nearby building.
British news site Mail Online said</a> a storm had “turn[ed] streets into rivers.”
A local news site quoted</a> Spain’s National Meteorological Service as saying that Benidorm had over 11 litres per square metre of rainfall in thirty minutes. Credit: Irina Fusle via Storyful
