Sky breaks its silence in thunder
Announcing its gift to the earth
Water rains on earth in showers
Grateful earth smiles back at the sky
Clouds scatter and the sun comes out
Both sun and earth are bright with light
When night invests the sky and earth
They stick together in dark hours
Like true lovers who don't desert
Each other when going gets hard
On sunny days they celebrate
The joys of life and its wonders
