Surat Al-Fatir (The Originator) – Surah 35 of the Qur’an

Description:
Surat Al-Fatir focuses on Allah’s role as the Originator and Sustainer of the universe. It begins by describing His creative power—how He made the angels with wings, how He controls mercy and provision, and how no one can challenge His will.

The surah invites humans to reflect on the signs of creation, such as rain, crops, mountains of varying colors, and living creatures—proofs of divine wisdom and power.

It emphasizes the contrast between the knowledgeable and the ignorant, the believer and the disbeliever, and the righteous and the sinful. The surah reminds us that true honor comes from obedience to Allah.

Throughout, it stresses that guidance, sustenance, and forgiveness come only from Allah, and warns those who deny Him of the punishment in the Hereafter. It closes by stating that if Allah were to punish people for every wrong, no creature would be left on earth—but instead, He gives time and mercy.
